More Food "Monday" # 3 - Pancakes

Fire_Cat Here!

And welcome back to More Food Monday. (Wellllll, Tuesday.)
On today's menu are...

Pancakes!!
  Let's get started!

First step, put together a plate. I used quartz this time. Click Here to see how to make a plate. This was on my last post.

When you build your plate, I recommend placing quarts blocks into the ground. Don't follow the instructions for the plate on the Gelatin post exactly.

Great! Now we can get started on the pancakes. First, make a 6x6 square of Oak Wood Slabs.
Now, take off the corners to make it more round.
(This is not a hole in the plate.)

Ok, now make another pancake on top of that, but don't line it up perfectly so it looks like there are two pancakes on top of each other.
Ok, now we can get to the fun part. The toppings! Start with a big blob of carpet-tile syrup.
The only downside is that you can not put syrup on the pancake below.

Awesome!! Now, let's add a pad of butter. punch out one of the carpet blocks, remove the slabs from underneath it and replace it with a wool block. (Not a carpet.)

Now, add a gold pressure plate to be the butter.
Viola! Done! It looks awesome!!! I can't stop taking pictures of it!!!

Once again, thanks for reading! Feedback is appreciated! If you leave an idea and I like it and use it, you'll minecraft username will get a shout out!!

I hope you enjoyed!

Fire_Cat Here!

And welcome back to another post! Today's post is just something small. I'm going to show you some of my favorite Mini game Servers to play on!

_______________________________________________________
Server Name: Overcast Network
IP Address: us.oc.tc
 (Or for Europe players: eu.oc.tc)

First up on the list, is the Overcast Network. The Overcast Network is a fun server that has amazing staff. I like how they have a /report command so that you can report hackers. You even get your own stat web page that the server creates once you join. On your stat page you can see your kills and deaths, and even friend your favorite players. The stat page is located at: oc.tc/YourMinecraftUsernameHere

____________________________________________________________________________________

Server Name: Mineplex
IP Address: us.Mineplex.com
(or for Europe Players: eu.Mineplex.com)

Mineplex is a pretty great server, aside from the hackers. Unlike Overcast Network, there is no report command. The server will kick you if it suspects hacking. Sometimes I get sent back to the lobby when I lag because  it thinks I'm hacking. They are also trying to make it more kid-friendly by automatically blurring out swears.  Otherwise, Mineplex has some pretty good games such as:
-Block Hunt
-Survival Games
-Super Smash Mobs
-Many more

 _______________________________________________________

Server Name: Play Mindcrack
IP Address: us.PlayMindcrack.com
(Or for Europe Players: eu.PlayMindcrack.com)

Play Mindcrack Is a fun server that isn't as bustling and busy as Mineplex. It is well made, and I barely see any hackers. There are a few fun games, but not too many. I don't play on it as often as the other servers, but I still like it and it is very well done.

___________________________________________________________________________________

There you go! My 3 favorite servers to play on. If you were wondering, Overcast Network is my #1 favorite, Mineplex is my second, and Play Mindcrack is my 3rd. Give me your thoughts on your favorite servers. Hope you enjoyed!

More Food Monday #2 - Gelatin

Fire_Cat Heeere!!!

And welcome back to More Food Monday! Today I am going to teach you how to make Slime Block Gelatin. That's right. Slime blocks.

Let's get started!

First of all, I want a plate to put it on. To start the plate, make a     10 x 10 block area out of stone slabs.

Next, take off the corners.

Then put a layer that is half a block higher than the one below.

Do the same with another layer. (Half a block higher than the last.)
Great! Now we have a pretty nice lookn' plate. The only thing is is that if you place a block on it, it floats in the air.
(I learned this the hard way. :P)

To solve this problem, fill in the lowest layer on the plate, like so.

Great! Now we can start building the gelatin.
Start with a 10x10 square of slime blocks in the center of the plate. (You can use stained glass if you want more color, but I like to use slime blocks because they are all bouncy and realistic to gelatin.)
(Before we move onto the next step, bounce on this for a while than start building.)

Ok, now shave off the corners kind of like what we did with the plate.
Awesome!! Now shave two more blocks off the corners to make it look rounder.
 Don't forget the hole!!
Now, bring this up another layer so that is is two blocks high.
Now, make a layer that is a block shorter than the last.
Also, when Mojang said that nearly anything bounces on slime blocks, they meant everything. Even the block breaking particles!!

Anyway, once you have done that, take off the corners on the middle layer.
Now you're done!

Thanks for reading!! Leave your ideas in the comments and I may use them! If I like your idea and use it, I'll give your Minecraft Username a shout out! Just leave your idea in the comments with your Minecraft username.

See you all next time!
Sighing Off.

More Food Monday

Fire_Cat Here!!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I haven't been able to come up with any ideas! Until now that is...

I was looking through my list of Minecraft worlds and I came across a fairly new world by the name of "Just Desserts."  No, it is nothing evil. Ready to find out what it is? Keep Reading.

 Nope, not it. Keep scrolling.

Alright! Here it is...

Yep. You guessed it. Desserts as in the food.

Here are a few of my creations:

First of all, the Strawberry Shortcake. Just in case you didn't know that the picture a few lines above this one is the Strawberry Shortcake, here is the picture again:

Next up, the Cookies and Milk. (Yes the chocolate chips on the cookies are flower pots.)

(I used quartz for the milk if you were wondering.)

Last but not least, the Ice Cream Cone. (With sprinkles!!)

I built the cone and the scoops with MCEdit and put on the sprinkles one by one by hand.

Now, before I end this post, I am going to show you how to make a food creation. This weeks creation is... (Imaginary Drumroll)

A Lollipop!

Let's get started.

First, build a large quarts pillar. (About 12-14 blocks tall.)

Next, put a ring of any color of stained glass around the stick. This will be the start of your candy ball at the top.

After that, add another ring right above the first that is slightly wider than the other one.

Next, I added another ring that was one block bigger than the last.

Now add a layer that is the same size as the one below it. I used orange for this layer. After that, add a new layer that is one block smaller than the last layer. Keep doing this until it looks like a ball.
(Please ignore the photo bombing ice cream cone.)

Viola! Done!

I hope you enjoyed this post! See you all next time,
Signing off.

Looking For A Wolf

Fire_Cat Here!

Happy St.Patrick's Day!! Today ThunderrrCat and I were out looking for a wolf for her on the Codiem server today- And oh! What an adventure we had! It started out looking for a wolf, but ended going back to Bluesun village thinking,
 "What the adventure!"
While we were out searching we ran into a forest, we ran into a hill. It was AMAZING! we named it Mount Claw sense Thun and I both have cat in our names and cats have claws. I give ThunderrrCat most of the credit because she found the mountain in the first place.

Here are some photos of the mountain I took...

Close up of the mountain

Thunny!

Quite the view!

My very first sight of the mountain

Beautiful. Just beautiful...

Well, that's it for today's post! Once again, happy st. Patrick's day!

Firesplash Survival Update

Fire_Cat Here!

On the last post I said I would give an update on the new Firesplash survival map. Well, here it is!
(By the way, if you haven't read my last post, you may want to. It's called firesplash survival tour #1)

First of all, Here are the murder holes:

The inside:

And the Outside:

And now... (Drum roll please!) The basement!!!

Here is a random water pool I ran into while digging. Please post in the comments if you have any Ideas of what to do with it. I am not sure yet.

And now, Stoney the zombie! Here is his new home:
What a couch potato. He's ALWAYS on his cobblestone bean bag.

We added a water fall to go down to the farming area.

At the bottom of the water fall, we have a small man made pool and some trees.

  \
Down here is where we will add more farms. And by MORE farms I mean we already built a small wheat farm.

"Ding-Dong!"  Hello? Come on in! Oh, wait. Stay outside. I'm not home!
